Have heard that both drivers are OK, along with all the Marshalls you can see taking cover...

definitely the Aston slowly creeping onto the SIN line. Poor driving by the Aston

What was the yellow car? I’ve never seen anything like it.

It is called a SIN. Dunno what it stands for though.

The marshal was clearly waving the blue flag so I guess Aston-Martin was being lapped and should have made some room. But there’s still no much sense trying to pass some lapped one in the last corner if he clearly isn’t going to give safe amount of room. Pretty stupid for both of them.

They were racing for 4th & 5th position, according to the story. Surprisingly, the Aston, which clearly caused the accident, was classified _AHEAD_ of the SIN R1 GT4. Go figure !?!

Oh! Then the track marshal made a mistake too. But I’m not sure if it mattered or was the accident going to happen anyway. I wouldn’t like to be in his pants now.

In Finland the blue flag is only shown to racers who need to be make move for the faster ones. And basically that applies only the the ones that are to be lapped. And the flag has to be obeyed. In yesterday’s F1 race I was wondering what kind of lap rules they do have now. I saw several cases when the blue flag was shown to a pair that were fighting for the position.

I was track marshaling a Porsche cup race in Saturday. There was one start where couple of marshaling points (like mine) were flagging wrongly because race control had a radio problems and while the flying start happened couple of points were still waving yellow as they were unaware that the start had happened.
